Evo Dynamics Surge Tank (Evo X)
Product Description
Introducing our new Custom Surge Tank Built specifically for the Evo X. This surge tank attaches to the stock fuel tank and sending unit to allow an uninterrupted fuel supply during hard cornering. The tank is just over 1.5L in volume, and can supply fuel for up to 40 seconds* without any supply fuel from the stock tank.
We offer the tank with all nylon braided hoses with anodized aluminum -6AN fittings. A Walbro 255 Inline Fuel Pump is included in the kit and is used to supply the engine. The stock in-tank fuel pump is sufficient to supply the surge tank when using the Walbro 255 Inline. An optional Bosch 044 Inline Fuel Pump is available, for those requiring higher fuel demand. The Bosch 044 Pump will come with an upgraded -8AN feed line.
We can further upgrade the fuel system by including an AMS anodized billet aluminum fuel rail. The kit will then have -AN fuel lines from the surge tank all the way to the fuel rail and back. An Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator will also be used to complete the fuel system upgrade.
If you are planning on running E85 fuel, we recommend getting the optional hard anodized finish to the surge tank. This will give the aluminum tank a chemically inert finish which will last longer when using alcohol fuels.
